3D Berlin Sneaker

Upon finishing the 3D Design Intensive for Footwear at Arsutoria
School, my partner and I were tasked with digitally replicating
an existing sneaker style with Italian brand DSquared2.
My main responsibility involved meticulously recreating the
entire outsole using Rhino, a challenging undertaking. The
attention to detail and precision needed for digitally transforming
uppers and components to achieve seamless factory readiness can
be seen as a cornerstone for the future of the industry.
 
For larger companies, the integration of 3D prototyping available at
the beginning of a season can significantly impact decision-making.
This influence extends to financial projections, encompassing the
cost of goods and minimizing the scale of additional sales
samples.
